Ruiquan Jin Milken Scholar, 2005 High School Attended: Reseda High School Reseda, CA City of Residence: Santa Clarita Country of Origin: China Happenings: Johnny currently serves as the director of development for two national education ventures (Summer Advantage USA and the Phalen Leadership Academies). In this capacity, he helped found, develop the blueprint and secure major investments to launch a new charter school management organization (Phalen Leadership Academies) that will serve over 10,000 children in its initial network. The first school will open fall 2013. Johnny graduated from UC Berkeley in two years, with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Previously, Johnny has served as a high school English teacher and a research assistant at Harvard. Johnny is also currently working on a science fiction novel.
