John Fahy (MS '02)

Kibwei McKinney (MS '97)

Can you say Otorhinolaryngology quickly three times? Congratulations to Kibwei McKinney, MS ‘97 as he will be awarded his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania this summer and will depart for residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall.


Erik Shirokoff (DECEASED) (MS '98)

Heavy jacket required. This January, Erik Shirokoff, MS ‘98, will begin a year-round deployment to the U.S. South Pole Station in Antarctica, where he will take part in wave telescope cosmology research with NASA and the National Science Foundation.


Florentino Salazar (MS '04)

Milken Scholar teaches for America. Florentino Salazar, MS ‘04, began his service with T.F.A. at Daniel Webster Middle School in Los Angeles as an eighth grade resource teacher in their special education department.


Pamela Escobar Smith (MS '05)

Next stop: medical school. Brown senior, Pamela Escobar, MS ‘05, will enter the Warren Alpert Medical School after graduation as part of Brown’s Program in Liberal Medical Education.


Jalondra Davis Brown (MS '02)

Jalondra Davis, MS ‘02, has accepted the position of adjunct professor at Cal State University of Dominguez Hills, where she will teach classes in their Africana Studies Department.


Emanuel Yekutiel (MS '07)

Bringing people together, one college student at a time. Emanuel Yekutiel, MS ‘07, is continuing his service on the Williams College student council as its sophomore representative.


Christina Andersen (MS '99)

On to greater things. Christina Andersen, MS ‘99, has acceptd an offer as a first-year associate with Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP to start in the fall of 2009, following her graduation from Yale Law School.

Congratulations are in order for Kimberly Solomon, MS ‘07, who was awarded the prestigious Dartmouth Dickerson Prize for best expository essay in a freshman writing class for the 2007-08 school year.
