Biography

Angela graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University in 2012 with a B.S. in Chemistry. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Biology at Harvard University in 2017, with a focus on small molecule probe and drug discovery towards rare neurodegenerative diseases. She was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and a Board Member of Harvard's Science in the News, an organization that seeks to make science accessible to the public. She worked across venture creation and biotech startup spaces after her PhD and is currently Vice President of R&D Operations at Viridian Therapeutics, a biotech company in Waltham, Massachusetts focused on antibody therapeutics to treat rare disease.
