Mirna El-khalily


Mirna is a rising junior at Stanford University majoring in Economics and minoring in Modern Languages (Korean and Arabic). This summer, she interned at McKinsey & Company as a coordinator for the Analytics Academy in Waltham. During the summer of 2017, she was a research intern with the Clayman Institute for Gender Research and examined how gender and socioeconomic status play into Stanford students motivations for major declaration. She graduated as the valedictorian from Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School in Los Angeles. As a high school student, Mirna conducted cancer research in Dr. Steve Swenson's lab at USC Keck School of Medicine.
