Biography
Hangyul Lyna Kim is a graduate of North Hollywood High School. She is a Gates Scholar, Jack Kent Cooke Scholar, National AP Scholar, Siemens Research Competition Semifinalist, CyberPatriot National Finalist, and Science Olympiad 6-time Gold Medalist. She conducted research into renewable energy development in the field of solar fields during the 2018 Research Science Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and created research opportunities for her peers as founder and president of Science Research Club. She was also the editor-in-chief of the school’s literary journal, president of the Math Club, and nationally competing member of Science Bowl. She will study Computer Science at Stanford.
