Jupiter El-Asmar

Biography

Jupiter is the Director of Graduate Programs Annual Giving at Georgetown University, responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel marketing strategy to secure current-use gifts from MBA, McCourt School, and other graduate program alumni. He also bartends for The Anthem, a music venue at The Wharf in Washington, D.C.

As an undergraduate, Jupiter studied Middle East Security, Strategy, and Culture and was a crew chief and Director of Training with Georgetown EMS, president of the Jazz Ensemble, and an Orientation Advisor. He studied abroad in Amman, Jordan.

Since graduating in 2017, he has worked in various capacities at Georgetown's Office of Advancement. As an employee, Jupiter has been involved as University Services Caucus Leader for the University Staff/AAP Council, and co-chair of the Office of Advancement's Process Improvements sub-committee.

In 2022, Jupiter graduated from Georgetown McDonough's MBA program. As a student, he was a McDonough Scholar and a Leadership Fellow. He was involved as the VP of Student Organizations and VP of Alumni in the MBA Student Government, VP of Finance for the Middle East Business Association, and VP of Finance for the Japan Society.

Leaders in Public Service. Congratulations to Jupiter El-Asmar, MS ’13, for being selected as a 2023 Presidential Management Fellow Finalist, the Federal Government’s flagship leadership development program for advanced degree holders across all academic disciplines.
