Biography

Gibran is currently a resident physician in the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. He will complete his residency in June of 2019. From July 2019 to July 2020 he will be doing a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Gibran graduated with Honors from Harvard College in June 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neurobiology, a Secondary Field in East Asian Studies, and a language citation in Mandarin Chinese. He spent the year following graduation volunteering at a rural hospital in China, where he studied both Western and traditional Chinese medicine. He received a joint M.D./M.B.A. from Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.
