Biography

Annie is Director, Internet Services Legal at Apple Inc., where she leads a team that provides commercial and product legal support for a variety of Apple’s internet services, including Apple Maps, iCloud, and Apple News. A 10 year Apple veteran, she has negotiated with major players across the gaming industry, the publishing industry, and the news industry to launch some of Apple’s newest internet services. After a summer internship in Microsoft’s legal department while she was at Harvard, Annie realized that she was passionate about working in the technology sector. She took her first legal job at Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe, where she was a corporate associate with the Emerging Companies Group working with startups. From there, she moved onto to Paragon Legal, which specializes in embedding lawyers into in-house positions before joining Apple in 2010. Annie particularly enjoys providing creative solutions to facilitate innovation at Apple, in balancing both legal and business considerations to optimize the customer experience with Apple’s products and services. Annie holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French from Stanford University and a JD from Harvard Law School. She is surviving the shelter in place by baking, cooking, finally learning to ride a bike, and hanging out with her husband and three children.
