Aleksey Mints

San Carlos Business Management


After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard in 2001, Aleksey earned a PhD in theoretical physics from University of California, Berkeley in spring 2007.  He has published two papers on using string theory to study various properties of black holes physics, including things like entropy bounds and the holographic principle.  Upon graduation, he had decided to pursue a career in business.  He spent two years as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco where he consulted on strategic and operational projects in a variety of industries.  In November 2009 Aleksey made the move to the high-tech industry to work for Juniper Networks, spending 3 years in Corporate Strategy and then moving to the current post of Director of Product Line Management.  In this role, he manages a software product that provides commercial network virtualization services.  He is recently the proud parent of two kids - Andrew Daniel Mints born on September 8, 2010 and Elizabeth Sadie Mints born on August 14, 2013.  Aleksey is currently juggling the demands of managing a business and parenting.
