John Fahy (MS '02)

Even bigger things on the horizon. John Fahy, MS ‘02, has settled into his new position as a theology instructor and speech and debate team coach for Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School in Houston. He and his wife, Angelica, are expecting an addition to their family this April.


Angelina Calderón (MS '06)

Congratulations to Angelina Calderón, MS ‘06, who has been offered a position with Teach for America to teach elementary school in Houston after she graduates from Yale this spring.


Ahmed Reza (MS '99)

Successful Launch: Ahmed Reza, MS ’99, was featured in the January 2015 issue of Space Coast Business, a magazine serving the Central Florida business region, for his work in starting-up TrepHub, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs establish themselves. Ahmed is also the founder and CEO of Dental Web Now which specializes in utilizing artificial intelligence in marketing.


Emanuel Yekutiel (MS '07)

Good Company: Congratulations are due to Emanuel Yekutiel, MS ’07, who was featured in the January issue of Forbes as one of 2015’s 30 Under 30: Law and Policy, for his role as Chief of Staff for FWD.us, the immigration reform group founded by Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates.


Ruben Harutunian (MS '01)

Global perspective. State Department Officer, Ruben Harutunian, MS ‘01, will be returning to the states for his next assignment; serving as an assistant to U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.


Oliver Sitt (MS '11)

After College Travels.  Once he graduates from the University of Pennsylvania this spring with a degree in economics and international relations, Oliver Sitt, MS ’11, will join Morgan Stanley as an FX financial analyst in the Fixed Income Division, first making a stop in New York before joining their Hong Kong office full-time.


Clarence Kong (MS '14)

Making an Immediate Impact.  While balancing heavy course loads, Clarence Kong, MS ’14, and William Oh, MS ’14, were elected to their respective school’s student governments during their first semesters.  Clarence became the freshman Class Representative for the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education and William became a representative in the Harvard Undergraduate Council. Congratulations!


Evelyn Wong (MS '17)

Marshaling a Future in Neuroscience and Global HealthPlease join us in giving Evelyn Wong, MS '17, a much-deserved round of applause for her selection as a Marshall Scholar! The scholarship is vied for across the country, and Evelyn joins a class of only 50 soon-to-be graduates. Receiving a fully-funded master’s degree at the University College London, she will be studying neuroscience among the best in the world. Inspired by her East LA roots, she hopes to become a physician and scientist with a focus on health outcomes for refugees worldwide. Let us all celebrate Evelyn’s extraordinary achievement


Erik Shirokoff (MS '98)

Think its cold where you are? Erik Shirokoff MS' 98 spent time in Antarctica this last winter as part of a research project with UC Berkeley. He has completed his coursework for a Ph.D. in physics and is spending his time teaching.


Mohammad Subeh (MS '02)

He's making it look easy. Last year, Mohammad Subeh, MS ‘02 completed his master's degree in sociology and this year he added a master's degree in clinical epidemiology to his repertoire. Up next, Mohammad is planning to attend medical school at his alma mater, Stanford University.
