No rest for the dedicated. A week after earning her master's degree in international policy and development from Georgetown University, Mireya Almazán, MS ‘99 spent six months in Johannesburg, South Africa working with a development consulting firm to combat child labor practices. Upon her return, she joined the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a member of their Global Development team.
