Yihwan's background is in organizational behavior, nonprofit management, legislative affairs, and public policy. He currently works as a Software Engineer at Curology. He previously worked as a product manager at a government-focused non-profit, as growth lead at a 3D-printing startup, and as an analyst for a consulting firm that specializes in procurement and healthcare reform. Yihwan also enjoys traveling internationally, whether it be working for a nonprofit organization in South America or learning about product development in Scandinavia. Yihwan received his BA in Political Science with distinction from Stanford University.

Stanford freshman Yihwan Kim, MS ‘09, will participate in the 2010 Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) conference at Harvard this February. He will be taking part in workshops and panels focusing on the humanitarian and security situation in North Korea.
