Biography
Shilpa is a program manager at YouNoodle, where she works with major foundation and government clients to run end-to-end startup programs focused on social impact and economic development. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Occidental College earning a degree in economics. At Occidental, she was enrolled in its prestigious Diplomacy and World Affairs Program, which took her to New York for an internship with the United Nations. She was also a student leader of Oxypreneurship, a hub on campus that works with students, faculty, alumni and administrators to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the community.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Congratulations to Shilpa Bhongir, MS ‘12, who was recently elected co-coordinator of Occidental College’s student-run community outreach organization, Oxypreneurship. Among the many projects they will be working on is helping to organize Occidental’s first TEDx event in March.
