Biography

Mike McAloon is Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations at Home Solutions, a performance-driven home services marketplace that connects homeowners with trusted service providers through first-party demand generation, rigorous provider vetting, and a pay-for-performance model. In his role, Mike leads strategic initiatives and operational execution across the business to drive scalable growth and marketplace efficiency.

He graduated from Duke University, where he double-majored in Public Policy Studies and Political Science and a minor in History. As a first-year student, Mike was selected as one of only three new student managers for the Duke Men’s Basketball team, traveling with the program and working with its youth basketball camps during the summers. Mike was a four-year varsity letter-winner at Duke and a two-time Atlantic Coast Conference champion.

During his time at Duke, Mike participated in an intelligence analysis program with the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, D.C. in 2017, and later interned with Delta Air Lines’ Commercial Strategy group in the summer of 2018.

After graduation, Mike began his career in consulting at Accenture, where he worked from 2019 to 2021 in the Financial Services Risk & Regulatory practice. He then moved into a corporate strategy role at American Tire Distributors, the largest wholesale distributor of replacement tires in North America, where he remained until 2023 before joining Home Solutions.

Hanging with Coach K. Michael McAloon, MS ‘15, was selected as one of only three new student team managers of the NCAA Champion, Duke “Blue Devils” Mens Basketball team. He will assist in multiple areas of the program and travel with the team for games on the road. Congratulations!
