Maria Cuevas

Biography

I'm currently a sophomore at Columbia University, majoring in Astrophysics. My passion for the space industry led me to join the Columbia Space Initiative, where I'm an active member of the Rockets Team and CubeSat mission, as well as the club's treasurer. My research interests center around astrophysics instrumentation, and I'm on track to apply to grad school at the end of my undergraduate years to pursue a Ph.D. in this field. My goal is to contribute to advancing our understanding of the cosmos and its mysteries.
