David Lam

Biography

David currently works as a Data Scientist at Fifth Third Bank, where he works on the AI/ML team that is applying machine learning models towards credit underwriting and data extraction tasks at the bank. Prior to that, he worked at Revelio Labs as a data scientist, where he leveraged machine learning and natural language processing techniques towards standardizing workforce data. In a past life, David graduated from Stanford with a bachelor of science in physics and completed a Ph.D. program in Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University. David was the recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and the National Defense Science and Engineering Fellowship.

An Exciting Fellow! Congratulations are in order for David Lam, MS '11, who was awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. David is currently attending Northwestern University where he is working toward his Ph.D. in material sciences.
