Casey Noel

Real Estate Development

Biography

As Vice President, Casey provides a full range of tenant advisory and agency services.

With over two decades of experience spanning real estate, finance, economic development, and government, he brings a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to every deal. While at The Community Preservation Corporation, he partnered with New York State ESD and HCR and led an effort to streamline recovery financing for small rental buildings, nonprofits and small businesses across New York. Previously, he was with Civic Builders, where he analyzed school real estate development funding requests for the Building Equity Initiative, and at Harpia Asset Management redeveloping residential properties in communities of color with a lease-to-own model.

During a five-year sojourn on the West Coast, Casey was at Lennar Multifamily Communities managing multiple transactions from acquisition to leasing and disposition. He also worked for the City of San Francisco, in the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development and in the Planning Department.

Casey previously also held real estate finance roles at Carrington Capital Management / Carrington Property Services, Capital Management Advisors and Goldman Sachs International (London). Today, he advises mission-driven organizations at OPEN.

Casey earned his undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard University and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from New York University.

Commercial Responsibility: Casey Noel, MS ’97 recently joined the national commercial real estate firm Transwestern,  where he will be contributing to their Nonprofit Advisory Services team to provide a full range of tenant advisory and agency services to the nonprofit community as a Vice President.  Way to go Casey!
