Angela graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University in 2012 with a B.S. in Chemistry. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Biology at Harvard University in 2017, with a focus on small molecule probe and drug discovery towards rare neurodegenerative diseases. She was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and a Board Member of Harvard's Science in the News, an organization that seeks to make science accessible to the public. She was an entrepreneurial fellow at Flagship Pioneering in Cambridge, a life-science venture capital firm, and is currently based in Boston, working in strategy and operations in the biotech startup space.
