Biography
William is a law graduate from Columbia Law School who is deeply committed to working towards a larger vision of abolition and full citizenship for all. In fall 2024, he is excited to start his career as a public defender in Los Angeles County. Along the way, he hopes to help create infrastructures of care in lieu of prisons and policing.
William graduated in 2018 from Harvard with a degree in Social Anthropology and a minor in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. Before law school, he worked as the lead Youth Organizer with the HANA Center in Chicago where he organized alongside young people in fighting for immigrant and racial justice. Through his work, William hopes to be part of a compassionate social justice that heals and restores.
