Biography
I am currently a rising sophomore in college on a pre-med track with the goal of becoming a pathologist, where I can combine my interests in chemistry, biology, and medicine in a hands-on, investigative way. I am especially interested in understanding how diseases operate at the molecular and cellular level, and I am particularly drawn to cell analysis as a way to better understand rare and complex conditions. In the future, I see myself working in a hospital laboratory, performing detailed diagnostic testing on patient specimens and analyzing cellular changes to help identify disease. I hope to eventually contribute to improving diagnostics, especially for rare or overlooked diseases, through both research and clinical practice. Outside of academics and medicine, I enjoy spending my free time practicing and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which has taught me discipline, resilience, and leadership. I also love baking, as it gives me a creative outlet and allows me to share something meaningful with the people around me.
