Biography

Valeria Urbalejo, a graduate of Harbor Teacher Preparatory Academy, is a recipient of the College Board’s National First-Generation Recognition Award and the CA Gold Seal of Biliteracy. She served on the Region South Superintendent Student Advisory Council, where she implemented and managed a peer tutoring pilot. Valeria was co-editor of her school’s Journalism Club and a student journalist for the USC Annenberg Youth Academy, helping produce two professional news episodes. Valeria is a QuestBridge Match to Yale and will study Political Science.
