Sepora Makabeh is a 2013 Scholar and Senior Managing Associate in the LA office of Bernstein. She began working in finance as an intern at Torchlight Investors in 2015, before interning in Private Wealth Management at Bernstein in 2016. Upon graduation from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017, where she studied Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and Economics, she joined Bernstein full time. During her time at the firm, she’s led two teams of associates in partnering with 5 financial advisors, managing over $2.5 billion in assets for over 1000 clients. In addition to the analytical and client servicing components of her role, Sepora has presented her perspective on female-focused investing to AB, managed both associates and interns, co-founded the LA chapter of the AB women’s employee resource group, and played a role in revamping training, recruiting, planning social events, and ensuring smooth new hire onboarding in the LA office.
