Samantha Simms

Biography

Samantha Simms, graduate of Milken Community School, is a National Merit Paramount Scholar. President of Girl Talk, Women’s Health Club, and a Teen Board Advisor for Wise Readers to Leaders, she champions female empowerment, raises awareness of gender disparities in healthcare, and supports youth literacy. As an undergraduate researcher, Samantha is exploring the fields of neuroscience and stem cell biology, and gaining valuable experience in immunofluorescent staining processes, cell culture, and super-resolution microscopy. Samantha is studying Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology at UCLA.
