Natalie Garcia
Biography
Natalie Garcia, salutatorian of Maywood Center for Enriched Studies, is an AP Scholar with Distinction, College Board National Hispanic Recognition Awardee, and recipient of the California Department of Education Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. Natalie served as Vice President of Tutoring for the National Honor Society and was a competitive cheer athlete. An active member in Student Government, Natalie founded the Write On Club which promotes creative writing and positive mental health. She will study child development, psychology, and human biology at Stanford. She is a part of the Comunidad for Health Equity club at Stanford and serves as a executive team member on the social committee. Currently, she is doing brain cancer research at the Petritsch lab.
