Merry Tola

Biography

Third-year student at Northwestern University majoring in Biological Sciences and Spanish with interests in medicine, cognitive aging research, and community engagement. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the ARMCADA Lab, I contribute to research on cognitive decline and decision-making in older adults. Outside the lab, I volunteer in clinical settings and mentor high school students through the Egna le Egna Mentorship Program. I also serve as President of Northwestern's Ethiopian-Eritrean Student Association, where I help foster community, cultural connection, and student support.
