Camila Ceballos Paredes

Biography

Camila Ceballos Paredes is a recent graduate of Columbia University, where she majored in Biology. She conducted colorectal cancer research in the Cheng Lab at the Columbia Stem Cell Initiative, investigating the differences between left- and right-sided CRC using an organoid model. She also participated in the Weill Cornell/Rockefeller/Sloan-Kettering Gateways to the Laboratory Summer Program, where she interned at the Grimm lab in MSKCC to study potential therapies for prostate cancer during her first summer and later at the Outtz Reed lab in WCM, where she examined the role of lymphatic endothelial cell junction remodeling in enhancing lymphatic drainage during lung injury. Her goal is to pursue an MD/PhD and conduct translational research.
