Biography

Marcellino Melika, graduate of Francis Lewis High School, is a National Merit Scholarship, Gates Scholarship, and Amazon Future Engineer awardee. A published researcher and national science award winner, he interned at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. He improved trail access for differently-abled people in Costa Rica and his work in journalism at WNYC Radio, Chalkbeat, and The Bell led him to become a 2024 SXSW EDU panelist. A QuestBridge Match to MIT, Marcellino will study Electrical Engineering with Computing.
