Biography
Mabel is a board-certified adult psychiatrist dedicated to weaving mental health care into everyday medical practice. She earned a B.A. in Molecular & Cell Biology at UC Berkeley, an M.D. at UCSF, and served as Chief Resident at the San Mateo County Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Over more than a decade at Kaiser Permanente Washington -- culminating as Associate Medical Director for Collaborative Care -- she led statewide psychiatric consultation and quality improvement initiatives. Now at Concert Health, she supports a mission to embed evidence-based behavioral health programs within primary care systems nationwide via telehealth. Recognized as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, she advocates for primary care models where easily accessible mental health is measured and managed like any other vital sign. She resides in the greater Seattle area with her family.
