Biography

Luzdary Ruelas earned a degree in chemical-biological engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As an undergrad, she conducted research at MIT and Caltech and was involved with MIT Medlinks and the Latino Cultural Center. In the summer of 2017, Luzdary conducted research at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands, where she helped develop a 3D model of the nigrostriatal pathway. She now works as a Process Engineer I for Bristol Myers Squibb in Seattle, Washington supporting technology transfers to external Contract Manufacturing Organizations.
