Public Policy

Biography

Luigi Auquilla is a MSc candidate at the department of public policy and management in King's Business School. Hailing from Harlem in New York City, he studied political science at NYU, being admitted to the honours program for the department where he studied housing discrimination in the New York City rental market. He is continuing this work as part of his masters dissertation, researching the variance in eminent domain jurisprudence between 2000 and 2010, with a particular focus on the effect evolution of the public use clause has on marginalised communities.

Aside from his academic life, he is an orchestral violinist with the Camden Philharmonia (1st Violinist), Orchestra of the City, and GKT Music Society (1st violinist), and enjoys playing competitive football and volleyball. He is searching for roles primarily in the public sector related to policy analysis, international development, and governance, and is also open to research roles in academia or think tanks.
