Julissa Mendoza

Biography

Julissa is a Junior at UCLA with a passion for legal, academic, cultural, and international studies. She is an active student and advocate on a pre-law track. Currently, Julissa volunteers as a JusticeCorps member at the Long Beach Courthouse Self-Help Center, assisting litigants with documentation and translations. She also serves as a Peer Learning Facilitator, guiding students in the Intro to Comparative Politics course and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Additionally, Julissa works as a Study Abroad Ambassador for UCLA, having studied in Berlin and worked with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom in Colombia. She continues to promote accessible global education by sharing her experiences through UCLA community events and social media.
