Julissa Mendoza

Biography

Julissa Mendoza, a graduate of South Gate High School, is an AP Scholar with Distinction, Dell Scholar, and Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Scholar. She was Captain of Girls Varsity Tennis, Founder and President of F.A.I.T.H Club, and Student Body Representative for the School Based Management Council. As President of the Associated Student Body Leadership and Vice Chairperson for the School Site Council, she helped set school budgets and educational plans. Julissa will study political science at the University of California, Los Angeles.
