Biography

Josselyn is a Customer Experience & Quality Assurance analyst at RentCheck, a proptech startup company based in New Orleans. She joined RentCheck through Venture for America, a national nonprofit and two-year fellowship program with a mission to mobilize the next generation of entrepreneurs in emerging American cities. She is also the creator behind WealthOnThe7, a bilingual financial literacy newsletter on Substack aimed at democratizing personal finance for young, Main Street professionals. Previously, she worked on Wall Street as a trader at Goldman Sachs, trading $3m+ daily in Latin American equities for the world’s largest asset managers and hedge funds. Josselyn is an alumna of the University of Chicago where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in economics and data science. She is originally from Ecuador and grew up in New York City. In her spare time, Josselyn enjoys social dancing and reading personal finance books.
