Biography
Jessica Amaya Torres is a third-year Public Health Studies student at Johns Hopkins University with a strong interest in health policy, health administration, and epidemiology. In spring 2025, she studied global migration and refugee policy in Washington, D.C., focusing on issues affecting immigrant communities. She currently works as a health advocate at the East Baltimore Medical Center and as a health communications intern with the Planetary Health Alliance. Jessica is passionate about improving healthcare systems and advocating for underserved populations.
