Esteban Flores is a junior studying Bioengineering with a concentration in Biomedical Devices and Cell & Tissue Engineering at UC Berkeley. For the summer of 2021, he will be doing research in the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery on spinal cord stimulation. In the summer of 2020, Esteban began an alumni outreach program to connect current and former students from his high school. That summer, he also coached his high school’s Academic Decathlon team, focusing on the categories of math and science. As a member of DREAM Campus Ministry, Esteban studies the bible with UC Berkeley students who desire to strengthen their faith and knowledge of God. Esteban is aspiring to enter the Biomedical industry developing biomaterials or designing devices that change the lives of people suffering physical disabilities.
