Biography
Elizabeth Abatan graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S./M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She will be attending the Carey School of Business for a master's in healthcare management before continuing to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon.
A member of the National Biological Honor Society, TriBeta, Elizabeth served as the vice president and liaison for the Student National Medical Association Minority Association for Pre-Health Students (SNMA MAPS) at JHU while working as an ambassador for DCPS Persists and Kaplan. A member of Dr. Xu Cao's Orthopedic lab at the medical campus, her research project focusing on the molecular signaling mechanisms behind pain received the Provost's Undergraduate Research Award.
