Biography

Dana Hua is the valedictorian of El Monte High School. She is a QuestBridge Match Scholar, Gates Scholarship finalist, National Merit Commended Scholar, and member of Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. She was an instructor and 2nd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, President of the National Honor Society, and President of Academic Decathlon, earning the highest scores in her high school’s history of Academic Decathlon. She was also the founder and president of Lions Hack to promote computer science, teach programming and coordinate hackathons. Dana will attend MIT to study computation and cognition.
