Biography

Yasha graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in biology in June 2017. For one year after graduation, she worked as a research technician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Charlestown, MA. She completed her MD/PhD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City in 2026, where her PhD focused on liver fibrosis in fatty liver disease. She is currently an Internal Medicine resident in the research track program at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
