Biography

Chinweze has over two decades of biopharmaceutical experience in global leadership roles spanning corporate strategy, research and development (R&D) portfolio strategy, commercialization, and business development.

Chinweze is currently the Head of R&D Portfolio Management at Galderma and leads a team responsible for strategic decision making and investment prioritization for the aesthetics and prescription pipelines. Prior to joining Galderma, Chinweze held leadership roles in strategic planning and business operations at Bristol Myers Squibb, and supported numerous business development transactions including the acquisitions of Medarex and Celgene.

Chinweze began his career as a discovery scientist at Merck investigating novel diabetes therapeutics, and has also worked in life sciences venture capital. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters in Yardley, PA.
