Carlos Carcamo is a graduate of Gonzaga College High School. He is an AP Scholar with Distinction and a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and National Hispanic College Recognition program. Carlos founded Gonzaga’s Latino Student Organization to support the school’s Latino community and collected more than 2,000 pairs of jeans for immigrants as co-founder of the Kino Border Initiative Club. He works in Gonzaga’s on-campus soup kitchen, helps children build literacy skills with Reading Partner DC and teaches Sunday school. He has interned at the Smithsonian’s Youth Engagement through Science program and for a law firm. Carlos will study business at Georgetown and plans to become a lawyer.
