Carla works in non-profit housing development at the Community Corporation of Santa Monica, where she strives to increase access to affordable housing in Los Angeles' expensive Westside communities. She recently earned her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA. Carla has previously worked in social policy research at the Urban Institute, the UCLA Latino Politics & Policy Initiative, and the UCLA Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies. Carla received her B.A. in Sociology from Yale University in 2015.
