Bonny Taing Ward

Biography

Bonny graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. In 2008, she joined a peacekeeping mission in Northern Ireland; in addition, she served with AmeriCorps in New Orleans where she worked with youths and on community rebuilding in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. She completed her post baccalaureate education program from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona in 2011, and has since worked in education with a concentration on the middle school demographic.

Bonny is determined to be an effective teacher in a multicultural classroom setting. Her mission as an educator remains focused on educating young people about social justice and mindfulness, especially to teach others to have a compassionate mind and a thoughtful heart.
