Alyssa Toussaint

Biography

Alyssa Toussaint is currently a sophomore at Yale University pursuing her B.S. in chemistry and certificate in Spanish. Her interests lie in organic chemistry research in food, environment and cosmetic industries. These interests have led her to work as lab safety staff in the organic chemistry teaching labs under the Yale Department of Chemistry assisting the lab managers in inventory and set up of the advanced chemistry labs. Outside of academics, she currently serves as a publicity and marketing chair with Yale’s oldest, premier student dance company, YaleDancers, and is an active member of the Yale Student Energy Association and Yale Model United Nations. She hopes to pursue a career in research and development.
