Biography

Alex is entering his sophomore year at Yale in the Fall. In his freshman year, he served as a Board member on Yale Children's Theater which offers theater programming to New Haven area residents. He also served as a Communication and Consent Educator for Yale's Office of Gender and Campus. He plans to continue pursuing African American Studies with certificates in Statistics & Data Science and Education Studies.This past summer, he interned for Ward 5 DC City Councilmember Zachary Parker where he drafted policy recommendations on education, environmental justice, and housing, and he attended council hearings, helped organize community events, and answered phone calls for constituent services.
