Biography

Akesh Mallia is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in mechanical engineering and aiming to be an aerospace engineer. His dream is to build space telescopes and earth observation satellites to advance science through engineering. In college, he has embraced a variety of roles, from designing propulsion systems in the rocket team to conducting vibration studies of the university’s football stadium. Driven by curiosity, he has interned at NASA Goddard, FTS International, and Rocket Lab.
