Written 04/01/2021

Nearly 230 high schools in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C. participated in the Milken Scholars Selections Process by nominating more than 1,500 top students to become members of our Class of 2021.

Despite the upheaval and uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus over the past year, a record number of future leaders from Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington DC applied to the Milken Scholars Program.

Nearly 230 high schools in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C. participated in the Milken Scholars Selections Process by nominating more than 1,500 top students to become members of our Class of 2021. We would like to acknowledge these schools below to show our appreciation.

We are honored that high school counselors, college advisors, and other educators from so many top public, private, and parochial schools take the time to recommend so many worthy candidates. The process of choosing the finalists and the eventual scholarship recipients is extremely difficult given how much potential our applicants have already demonstrated at such a young age.

We wish all our nominees the best of luck in their endeavors and can state without hesitation that America’s colleges and universities will receive an influx of students ready to make a difference in the world around them this fall.

We have reviewed the applications received and our finalists are now being invited for interviews. One step closer to our final selection of the Milken Scholars Class of 2021.To all the counselors, college advisors, and educators from these wonderful schools: Thank You for your continued support!
