Biography
Taylor Chavez served in the Peace Corps as a Public Health Educator in Guinea. She graduated in June of 2018 from Stanford University where she earned a degree in biomedical engineering. During her junior year and senior years at Stanford, Taylor worked as a bioengineering undergraduate researcher in the Wang Laboratory, which specializes in taking an "interdisciplinary approach to studying fundamental mechanisms controlling gene expression in mammalian cells." She is pursuing her Ph.D. from Duke University in Biomedical Engineering.
