Biography

Christian Mendez is a Product Development Engineer at BD, a global medical technology company that is advancing the world of health. He graduated from Yale with a degree in Engineering Science-Chemical. While at school Christian was engaged in various research projects particularly in renewable energy. After his freshman year, he participated in the STARs summer research program where his area of research centered on dye-sensitized solar cells. In his sophomore and junior year, he participated in labs focusing on air pollution analysis and electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide. Aside from research, he worked on campus as a Student Dining Hall Manager.
