Ayan Rahman

Biography
Ayan Rahman is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and currently attends Brown University, where he concentrates in Urban Studies. While at Brown, Ayan has worked with the Rhode Island Food Policy Council to serve municipalities and Health Equity Zones facing food apartheid. He has also worked at WXY Studio, a community-development oriented urban planning and design firm in New York, as a Planning Intern. He is the co-president of the Brown Outing Club, and works with the Transfer & Resumed Undergraduate Education (TRUE) student organization and the Undocumented, First-Generation College, and Low Income (U-FLI) Student Center as a campus employee. Beyond Brown, Ayan interns as a program producer and assistant at the Center for Brooklyn History's Arts and Culture department and currently conducts research with the International Center for Climate Change and Development in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
