Alma Zepeda

Biography

Alma received her bachelor's degree in American Studies from Yale in the spring of 2012, where she was heavily involved in La Casa Cultural, a Latino organization on campus. In the fall of 2012, she began a two year commitment with Teach for America, where she was placed at a Burbank Elementary School in Houston, Texas. Following her completion of a masters degree in elementary education from Johns Hopkins, Alma returned to Los Angeles where she worked as Director of Operations at Libertas College Preparatory Charter School. Currently, Alma is a Consortium Fellow pursuing her MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
