Thank you to all high schools and students that participated in our Class of 2023 nomination and application process.

The search for our newest class of Milken Scholars began in October 2022 when over 260 high schools from New York City, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles County nominated students from their campuses as top candidates to apply to the Milken Scholars Program. All high schools in the three cities are eligible to nominate up to 15 students from each school which led to close to 2,000 nominations.  This is an all-time high for the Milken Scholars Program!  Students must be nominated in order to receive an invitation to apply.

Thank you to the teachers, counselors, principals, and school representatives who advocated for their students and supported them throughout the application process. Thank you to all applicants for sharing your life stories and hopes for the future. We are honored to learn about the lives of so many outstanding and diverse candidates. It is evident that the graduating Class of 2023 is leaving a positive impact in their local communities, and they are ready to continue creating a better world.

We are in the midst of thoroughly evaluating each submission and look forward to sharing exciting news in the coming months.  Best of luck to all!
